How to See a Doctor
The Practice is working under exceptional circumstances due to the threat of the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. In light of this, we have temporarily changed our appointment system in order to minimise risk to staff as well as patients.
As of Monday, 31st August our triage system will operate between the hours of 8am and 11am only.
This will allow the Doctors to speak to everyone who requires medical attention in the morning, allowing time to see patients face to face if necessary in the afternoon. The available appointments have been reduced as each appointment slot has been doubled to allow time for cleaning of the room and protective equipment to be changed after each patient is seen.
If you are in need of medical assistance, please contact the Surgery during these times and pass on as much detail as possible to our reception staff who will arrange for your call to be triaged by a Doctor/Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Nurse appointments are available for urgent injections, dressings, cervical screening and annual health checks.
If you are asked to attend the surgery for an appointment, we strongly advise you to wear a face covering in order to protect yourself as well as our staff. Unfortunately we are unable to supply face masks.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO SO.
Requests for HOME VISITS must be made before 10.30am in order to enable the Doctors to prioritise these visits.
